Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Móðir terms and conditions, which apply to all items ordered from Móðir. Please read through them carefully before placing your order. By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes to the terms that apply to that order.

PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS

When you place an order on our website we will email you an order confirmation email. Once you have checked out and you have received your order confirmation email, you will not be able to make any changes to your order, so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the 'PAY’ button.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may occur for a number of reasons, however we will let you know if this is the case.

If there are any problems with your order we will contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure.

Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).

Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.

RETURNS POLICY

ITEMS BOUGHT IN STORE
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after the date of purchase to return your item for exchange or credit voucher.

If you change your mind about an item please return it in perfect condition, with your receipt, within the time frame as outlined above. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product is not in its original condition. We will be pleased to exchange the product or provide a credit voucher which can be used for a future purchase. We are unable to issue a refund, except for faulty items.

BESPOKE ITEMS (i.e. pompoms added, custom colours or reupholstering services) ARE NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE.

ONLINE PURCHASES
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return for an exchange or a credit voucher. Delivery costs are non-refundable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return of an item bought online, you must contact us first at modirlifestyle@gmail.com with the subject line 'returns + your order number'. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions with how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

LOSS & DAMAGES

Please note that we are not liable for any costs associated with your return, or for the loss or damage of the item/s on its return. Due to this, we suggest returning item/s via a tracked and signed for service and obtaining proof of postage, as the parcel is not our responsibility until we sign for it.

We will only accept the return of item/s if sent back in original unused condition with proof of purchase; we reserve the right to reject items returned in an unsaleable condition, this includes any items with marks, stains or damages and items returned in unsuitable packaging.

FAULTY ITEMS

If your item is faulty or damaged, notify us within 14 calendar days of receiving the product by emailing modirlifestyle@gmail.com with the subject line 'faulty + your order number' and any images you have of the damage. We will look to remediate the issue as soon as possible.

Please note that the majority of our products are handmade and as such there may be slight variations between products.

SHIPPING

We intend to dispatch all orders within 3 weeks from receipt of order. If the dispatch of your item is delayed, we will contact you to give you an update.
